I doubt this situation will approve as countries are starting to retreat into their shell and very little collabortion appears to be forthcoming to address the issues many countries are facing.
Agreed, inter-country collaboration does seem to be fading in some ways, yet here at least that doesn't seem to be true for intra-country. Before the flood hit, there were huge numbers of people just turning up to help, filling sandbags, fitting them around peoples, helping people move items to higher levels within homes, trucking-companies donating uncountable tons of clay to build an emergency levee along the riverbank. No-one was paid anything to do this: they just turned up and did whatever was needed. It was a really good example of how a responsibility-based economy actually works.
