Focus is something that we are all struggling with, and your "awful writing" style made the piece so much more personal, and most of us have had our quota of similar experiences during the chaos we are experiencing.
:-) Thanks, Robert. I was kind of hoping that the writing-style would be sufficiently awful to make it fun - I'm glad it worked, anyway! And yeah, that was also part of the purpose - because yeah, this past couple of years hasn't exactly been fun for most of us, so we may as well find some fun in that other awfulness too...
Love this, I suppose the saying that " life happens in-between having fun" is maybe relevant, and distractions lengthen the period between such events seems to be impacting us all.
Thanks as always, Robert. I hadn't previously seen that version about '_between_ having fun' - seems painfully accurate... :(
I perhaps ought to point out that I, uh, do know my writing-style in the early part of the post was truly awful :-o - it _was_ intentional, honest! I just wanted to illustrate what attempts at change look like when there's an almost complete lack of focus and discipline. All too often all too realistic in my case, unfortunately...
