Agreed that it'd be interesting to see just how many of Maslow's needs are (or should be) already addressed outside of a money-based model. (I'll admit I'm distrustful of the concept of Maslow's needs as a hierarchy - not least because Maslow places spirituality as the highest-level (i.e. least-essential) need, whereas Victor Frankl's opinion and first-hand experience was that it was the need that was most essential for survival in a Nazi concentration-camp.)
Hi Tom, extremely interesting topic. Should we revisit Maslow to clarify needs in context ?

Going meta: Imagine articulating the imagined world without money.
How it would be possible to reach more people (beside the "regular" folks)?
What if there would be visual material supporting the imagined world, like:
A). sketches similar to the ones created by Joseph http://weblog.tetradian.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/viner-irrigation-pump-and-plough-768x357.jpg or http://vinercodex.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/english-plough-1887.jpg
B). foam-cardboard prototype of the cafe an/or other venues on the High Street similar to the ones created here http://weblog.tetradian.com/2019/08/29/ea-in-miniature-part-4-prototyping/
C). (going further) role-playing a moneyless world like Early American https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC93gx3ZRBY0UfiuVMtwonaw or Townsends https://www.youtube.com/user/jastownsendandson do in their videos
How the invitation to imagine could be made more compelling? Imagine, imagine, imagine…
